Norris High School Show Choir Fundraiser
Show choirs hold competitions to raise money to support themselves. For many schools, the hosted competition is the primary source of funding for the show choirs. All the kids from the choirs and many of their friends and family work tirelessly leading up to the competition date to prepare, and then work an 18+ hour day to make the competition a success. Last year, a major winter storm forced the cancellation of the Norris High School Fields of Talent show choir competition. As rare as this is, it happened to them again this year!
Programs were printed, signs were made, judges hired, etc. So not only did they lose their primary fundraiser, for two years in a row, they've had significant expenses for a competition that didn't happen.
Show choirs pay money for choreography, music rights, travel, and song arrangements. These and other expenses add up fast. With no money coming in now for the last two seasons, this is going to be a difficult time for the choir students at Norris.
We're hoping that our show choir community will come together to help Norris. Please consider making a donation to their program.
THANK YOU!
