The Norris family has experienced significant challenges this past year affecting their health, financial security and home stability. The goal of this Go Fund Me page is to help stabilize the family during a time of need.

This all started about 18 months ago. First, Tom lost his job and was unemployed. As the provider of the family, this was the initial hardship. Then, as he was getting back on his feet and beginning the first day of his new job, the unimaginable happened...

Almost exactly one year ago, the Norris' family home burned down suddenly. The family lost all of their possessions and memories that were created there over the last 27 years. 

As they began to rebuild their home and reestablish the foundation of their family, even more devastation occurred. In May of 2020, two months into the pandemic, Tom was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. His health condition is changing rapidly and is very uncertain.

The Norris family prides themselves on their faith, family and commitment to the Wheaton community. From coaching children's sports, teaching religious education at his local church, attending daily mass and making the best steak around - Tom has the ability to leave a positive, uplifting impact on everyone he encounters. Even during a state of turmoil, Tom has not lost his sense of humor and maintains a peaceful spirit. 

Recognizing that this is an unprecedented and challenging time for the world, we are appreciative of any amount you are able to contribute to help support the Norris family. The family wishes not to receive any calls, texts or messages so they have adequate space to process what is happening. We ask that you please respect their wishes.

All funds received will go directly to the Norris family to help cover their mortgage payment, food expenses and medical bills for Tom's treatment over the next 3 months.
