Norris Family Medical Bills

Donation protected
Hello, I would like to introduce you to an amazing, young, sweet, caring, beautiful family, this is Tiffany and Greg Norris.  Many are going through lots of struggles right now, they are going through many extras.  When they left the hospital with Grayson (their youngest son) they expected things to be very similar but not exact to when they brought home their son Braydon.  This is Greg’s third child and Tiffany’s second son.

Well things were very, very different. Something went wrong with this guy. They ended up in the emergency room of Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas then the ICU, Grayson was just 4 weeks old.  I personally can not even imagine with a child being placed in the ICU what they were going through.

Grayson was released from Sunrise Hospital after a week stay with severe dehydration and metabolic acidosis.  Well this was just the beginning of their nightmare.

Grayson was readmitted to Summerlin Hospital, because well Tiffany was not very comfortable with the treatment her son received at Sunrise.  He probably should have never been sent home in his condition.  They were only home for 2 days.  He could not eat, he had severe diarrhea, and was losing weight daily which he could not afford to do.

While at Summerlin Hospital’s ICU for a month, the doctors did all they could for him. They put him under and placed a feeding IV so he could get some nutrition meanwhile keeping him sedated.  The doctors finally informed Tiffany and Greg after doing many tests that they believed he needed to seek specialty care for Grayson either in LA or Salt Lake City as Grayson’s illnesses were outside of their professional realm of understanding.

Grayson and Tiffany were life flighted to Salt Lake City, during all of this this poor little guy had to be intubated 3 times over the course of 6 weeks.  For now, they are supplementing his nutrition with the use of a NasoGastric tube to keep him fully hydrated and to avoid malnutrition. Grayson is also on a specialty formula and supplement to help thicken to avoid aspiration from the damage intubation has caused. As of now, they are awaiting some additional lab results on Grayson to find out if he has a rare genetic disorder affecting his immune system.

They have since been able to go home but of course they will be going home to a lot of medical expenses that they were not anticipating, as well as additional specialty care that Grayson will need to maintain stable.  Neither of them has been able to return to work as expected after maternity leave and are now without pay on top of these additional expenses and two other children to provide for. This family is near and dear to mine and I would like to help as much as I can. Donations are appreciated to help them get back on their feet as well as lots of love, thoughts, and prayers.
