Norman Noye Fundraiser

Donation protected
Norman Noye of Charlottetown, PEI, suffered a stroke in late August and was admitted to the Stoke Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for therapy.  After 6 weeks of treatment he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.  Norman is unable to walk, with limited speech and upper body mobility.  He was sent to the Moncton Hospital to meet with a neurologist to determine if there are any options for treatment and to determine the plan of action moving forward.

His wife Marion and two sons, Jason and Kris, are currently trying to renovate their home to accommodate a wheelchair.  Renovations are required to modify the ramp to the deck and to the main door in order to get the wheelchair easily in and out of the house.  In the bathroom, the door needs to be widened, a wall removed and they will need to remove their washer and dryer and replace with a stackable unit.

The hospital has provided the loan of a specialized wheelchair, seat and walker.  However, he will be released from the hospital and will be returning home for the time being.  Norman’s family would like to be able to keep him at home with the family as long as possible and will be requiring some equipment and supplies.  All money raised will go towards, construction cost, equipment and future trips to Moncton for treatment or assessments.

The family appreciates all the support they have received to allow them to spend some quality time with Norman and to have him back home.  Words cannot express the gratitude they feel.

We will keep you updated on his progress and please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
