On November 18, 2018 the world lost a kind mother and beloved grandmother. Norma Jean Wilson devoted all of her time to loving and cherishing her children, grandchildren, and six dogs, showing time and again her compassionate, caring nature by always putting others before herself. Her Facebook page is plastered with photographs she proudly displayed of her grandchildren, all of whom adored their "grammie" and were showered with love and affection in return. Norma's bright personality, enormous heart, colorful expressions, and in-your-face yankee attitude will be much missed and often remembered.
Norma spent so much time and energy on her children and grandchildren that she, unfortunately, left this world without funeral arrangements and, as such, her children, Jay, Kayla, and Samantha, have come together to handle arrangements with the help of Norris Funeral Services. The children wanted to allow others the chance to help with the costs associated with the ceremony and funeral, which will be Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00PM, and would greatly appreciate any donations made as they mourn their loss and prepare to spend their holidays in bitter-sweet remembrance of Norma Jean. Norma Jean's obituary will be in the Martinsville Bulletin on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
