Norman Nykamp, age 70 of Zeeland, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
Norm taught 5th grade for 2 years in De Witt and 27 years at New Groningen Elementary where he started 5th grade camp.
While hunting was his passion, the 5th grade camp program is his legacy. To honor his memory, and celebrate the thousands of lives he impacted through his teaching and the camp program, we are asking for donations in lieu of flowers. All donations will be given to New Groningen Elementary school and will be used to support the 5th grade camp program and scholarships for students that need them to attend.
