Norm Anderson needs our help

Norm Anderson needs our help. On Wednesday, April 2, Norm was found in his home unable to call for help after a bad fall. He was rushed to Hospital Medassist in Puerto Vallarta where a series of tests revealed 10 broken ribs, a fractured vertebra and a punctured lung. These diagnoses make it impossible for him to withstand the pressure of commercial air travel which could bring him to the states where he would qualify for Medicare. This means that surgery must take place here in Puerto Vallarta. Though he does not have medical insurance in Mexico, he had the funds to pay for the necessary surgery and related medical costs. However, while undergoing further testing and intensive therapies to prepare him for the surgery, additional issues were identified, the most urgent of which is a number of blood clots in his legs which, if dislodged, could travel to dangerous places and result in his death. These new diagnoses and the specialists and procedures required to treat them have come at tremendous cost which has exceeded his ability to pay. They have also extended his hospital stay, further pushing the costs beyond his reach.
Please help us raise the funds necessary to pay for Norm's surgery and related medical treatment. Once he is stable, the doctor can clear him to travel to the US where he will be eligible for care and where he has family who can help in his convalescence and recovery.
