Norland College Fees
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family and Supporters
My name is Kaia, and I’m an 18 year old girl who has spent the last five years chasing a dream which is now nearly a reality. That dream is to study at Norland College, the world's renowned institution that shapes the most skilled and compassionate childcare professionals.
I have been working with 12 different families and also a nursery, over the last 5 years. I have put my everything into making sure I have the experience and knowledge to get into Norland. My dream became a reality when I was offered one of the 100 places they give each year into Norland College. The only obstacle I now have are the fees.
The tuition fees for this three year journey are far beyond what can I afford, and without the financial support I will not be able to attend Norland. Unlike most universities, Norland Collage is a private University, so getting tuition fees paid is not an option. That is why I am taking on a challenge that I feel mirrors the journey I have taken to getting to where I am now. I will be running the Jurassic Coastline to raise the funds I need to step into this dream I have worked so hard for.
The Jurassic Coastline in England is the only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site, stretching over 115 miles. It will be a test of endurance and strength as I take on the relentless hills and the beautiful views. There have been moments over the last year I felt my dream of Norland was to far out of my reach, but just like doing this run I won’t give up until I achieve it.
The route I plan to take:
- 115 miles
- 5 days of running
- approximately 3,500m total elevation gain
- roughly 24miles a day
I am doing this not just for myself, but for the children’s lives I hope to change. I believe that every child deserves love, care and support no matter what the circumstances are, that’s why as well as my run I will be taking on the challenge to make 300 baskets and creating children’s toys to go with it. I will be donating these baskets to nurseries, adoption center's and homeless shelters because I truly believe no child should go without joy.
From a young age I I have felt the purpose for helping and nurturing children. Norland is more than a university to me, it is what will give me everything into becoming the kind of person who can shape the young lives for the better.
But I cannot do this alone.
I am asking for your support, whether it’s through a donation, sharing my story or simply cheering me on during my run. Every step I take along that coastline is a step towards my future, towards the children I will one day care for, nurture and protect.
Every donation, every share and every word of encouragement means the world to me. Together we can turn this dream into a reality. Thank you for your time to read this.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
