Noreen’s Medical Fund

A note from Noreen as we end this fundraiser:

Thank you to all for the kindness you have shown me during my time of illness. You people are amazing,  you have helped my family and I through these stressful times. I will keep fighting my battle with this dreaded disease,  keeping positive.  Noreen Forde

As many of you are already aware, our dear friend Noreen Forde is battling ovarian cancer for the second time.

If you know Noreen you will know that she is one of the most thoughtful caring selfless people that you could ever hope to meet. She is the first one to jump in to help somebody in need. Noreen is a loving wife to Gerry and a proud mom to Timothy and Brian.

As a long-standing member of the Gaelic American Club in Fairfield, she has volunteered many hours there, organizing ceiles, the hanging of the jerseys and Irish New Year’s, to name but a few.

As a member of St Patrick’s Gaelic Football and Hurling Club she has organized many fundraisers and has been named Gael of the year.

She is kind and generous and now she is the one in need of some help. Her medical bills are mounting and it is our turn to give back to her.
