On December 17, Nora Lee Field, Stackpole, passed away in the ICU at the University Of Virgina Medical
Center in Charlottesville. Over the past several months Nora has suffered and endured several medical conditions, and finally was unable to fight the brave battle any longer.
At the time of her passing, she left her beloved husband James, sons, Dustin and Shaun, daughter, Tonia, She also left parents Eric & Carol Field, sisters Sheila, Andrea, Tracie, & Beth, brothers' Eric Jr. and Pat. Granddaughter Brianna, who she has basically raised since infancy and Grandson Matthew, who she also has raised from a very young age.
Nora, was a strong, outgoing, and very nurturing individual. Other than dedicating much of her later years helping raise grandchildren, she was involved with several other activities and hobbies. She was very active in the Girl Scouts as a very involved leader of her own troop, diving head first into cookie sales, badge earning, and other activities. She loved to scrapbook, cook, and even had her own web-page Twisted Kitchen. Being ill, during many of these activities, showed her strength and determination. Nora loved Boston Terriers and had owned several and was proud of her everything "cows" collection.
As we all know, medical bills puts a huge drain on anyone's household, and that Social Security thinks funerals come free. This is why we are asking for your help, to assist the family in expenses that will be incurred having her taken care of in death, in a dignified manner.
All funds that are generated by this fund will be administered by her Sister, Sheila Field, Lieberth.
