NORAA LIVES!!!

Hi friends,

I did not think I would ever be in this situation but I am and all I can do is fight through it and ask for a little help. After three and a half months of weekly doctor's appointments, ultrasounds, biopsies, scans, and a lot of uncertainty, I have been diagnosed with squamous cell cancer which is originating from a cancerous tumor on my right tonsil. On March 22nd I am going in to have a Radical Tonsillectomy to have both tonsils removed. After that I will either have another surgery to remove the cancer cells left in the lymph nodes on my neck or have 6 weeks of chemo / radiation treatment. On top of all that, if I have radiation treatment, I will have to get 3 wisdom teeth removed before the treatment can start. (I won't know until they take out both my tonsils and run some more tests which path I go down).

I know I have a long way to go to get healthy but I'm not worried one bit because I KNOW I will get through this! But what I am worried about is how I'm going to pay for it all. As many of you know I am self-employed and don't have great insurance. I know I am not going to be able to work during much of my treatment, so that means my screen printing shop will be sitting empty costing me a lot of money as I lose out on jobs at the same time. After all the trips to the doctors thus far and with the estimated cost for the surgery on the 22nd I am already over $10K out of my pocket. I hate asking for help, but in this situation I can either rack up thousands and thousands of dollars in credit card bills to cover all this or ask for help...so here I am. Anything you can throw my way would be GREATLY appreciated, but more importantly just send me some good vibes, which goes a long ways too.
