Help 103-Year-Old Nora Take Flight for Brain Tumour Support

At 103 years old, most people would be putting their feet up — but not Nora!

This August, Nora will take to the skies for a gliding experience at Husbands Bosworth Airfield, flying with a pilot from the AeroSPARX team — all to raise money for Brain Tumour Support, a cause very close to her heart.

Years ago, Nora proudly served in the Land Army, and she’s always been a woman of strength, courage, and kindness. When asked what she’d like to do to celebrate her 103rd birthday, she didn’t ask for a party or presents — she asked to go skydiving! Although a skydive wasn’t possible, the next best thing was arranged: a breathtaking glider flight.

Everyone who knows Nora was shocked by her request — but inspired too. With help from the care home and the AeroSPARX team, this incredible wish is now becoming a reality.

Nora is doing this to raise funds for Brain Tumour Support, a charity she has chosen. Like many, she has seen the devastating effects of brain tumour’s and wants to help others get the support they need.
