This is Avery and Katie, daughters of the one-and-only powerhouse Nora Liell. In early July, Nora contracted cellulitis in her leg, leading to hospitalization, a whole lot of pain, and really stubborn infection that's kept her out of work and off her feet for weeks. If you know Nora, you know exactly how serious an ailment this must be to keep her from her gardens, community, and clients.

She has now been moved from the hospital proper into a program called Hospitalization at Home, which has her still receiving IV antibiotics, 4-times daily check ins with her nurses, and a strict order to get some rest. Nora has abided by this edict, but it's been difficult. Without her work and with the expenses of her hospitalization, money is beyond tight. Nora has spent most of her life as a central pillar of her communities, offering aid above and beyond for friends and acquaintances alike. We want to give a little of that love back, and we're asking you to join us in helping Nora get back on her feet figuratively, so she can focus on the literal part.
