Help support baby Nora Gilbert and her family.

Hi, my name is Kellee, and I'm seeking funds for my niece, Nora.
Our 6 month old fighter is currently in the hospital after finding that valves in her esophogus weren't closing properly, causing her feedings to result in formula getting into her airways and lungs with each feed, leading to malnurishment. She has been given a feeding tube, and it is unclear if this necessity will be needed for the rest of her life.
This diagnosis comes shortly after being diagnosed with microcephaly and failure to thrive. Part of her current hospitalization plan includes an MRI and a multitude of other tests to get answers in what other challenges Nora and the Gilbert familiy are facing. The MRI showed that Nora also has underdeveloped optic nerves and an underdeveloped cerebellum, which will mean years of physical and speech therapies.
While insurance will help with some of these costs, parents Danielle and Shane have already faced an unfair medical system and worry about how they will be able to fund this current hospitalization, the answerless doctors visits prior to this, and future specialists and medical equipment they will need in the future.
Please support my sister Danielle and my brother in-law Shane to get the help they need as they get through the hardest introduction to parenthood. This whole family is being the bravest they've ever been, and your support will mean the world to us.
Since Nora is still in the hospital and needs to gain more strength before she can move forward with some of the tests she needs, we don't know what the ending hospital bill will be for this stay, how much will be covered by insurance, or what kind of equipment they will need to bring home, but we thought that $30,000 was a good place to start until we get answers.
Thank you so much for thinking about our Nora. She's already proven to have a strong fighting spirit.
