Nootka's ACL surgery & rehabilition

Hello friends, friends-of-friends, internet strangers and furry creature lovers!
My lovely furry best friend is in pain, and we are asking for your help.
Nootka started displaying symptoms of leg lameness months ago, but because she wasn't in much pain I didn't rush her to a vet- and truth be told, i knew it would require a specialist visit, which are never cheap, so I have been saving so she could see him.
She was able to see him today, and he confirmed that she does have a cruciate ligament tear that will require surgery, as well as rehabilitaion.
Time is of the essence for an injury like this, as she has been favoring her other leg, which could lead to further injury- meaning more vet visits and another possible surgery.
Obvioulsy, I don't want her to go thru that so it is crucial that she gets this surgery and treatment ASAP!
My goal is to book her surgery as soon as possible, but in order to do that I need to have at least 1/2 of the cost up front- which is estimated to be about $2, 465.00. The rest will be paid off over a few months.
Those who know me will know how difficult it is for me to be asking for this- however, I am pushing my nagging ego aside for the sake of Nootkas health and happiness which is of upmost importance to me. Nootka is the dog I've been dreaming of having by my side since I was a little girl. She's been my therapist, my companion, and a friend to many! She wants to run wild & free again, but she needs our help!
To put things into perspective, I've estimated that it will only take 175 people donating $30 to reach our goal!! Please help if you can, and know that every bit really does help.
