This fundraiser is for the family of Noora Al Mafraji.
My name is Beth and I had the honor of working with Noora for the past 6 years. I got to help Noora navigate her 1st job here in the US and watched her blosom and grow from sales associate, to customer service lead, to part-time sales manager. Noora was the sunshine of our store and was one of those rare special souls who left a mark on everyone she encountered. We cheered and celebrated as Noora gained her US citizenship in 2022 and celebrated again when her oldest son gained his US citizenship this past summer. Noora and her family had overcome so much and recently moved into their 1st house and she was excited to be in her next chapter of life.
Noora was tragically killed early Christmas Eve morning while trying to earn some extra Christmas money with her husband in a suspected wrong way drunk driver car crash. Her husband was injured but treated and released to recover at home with their 2 sons.
We've taken some time to grieve and process this news and to decide how best to support her husband and 2 sons through this time of loss. They were a 2 income family so things are tight on top of the grief of losing a beloved wife and mother. Anything helps 100% of the funds will go towards medical bills, funeral costs, and general living expenses. We just want them to have less stress and focus on navigating through this time of grief and transition.
