Help Noodle survive cancer!

First and foremost, I want to remind everyone how important healthcare for your pets is.
My closest companion for the last decade - from my senior year in highschool to my college graduation- moving to multiple different cities and always looking at me with those big loving eyes… has received a very upsetting diagnosis.
The most well dressed and most polite tuxedo cat has cancer, and the specialists on his team are recommending a splenectomy, aka a surgical removal of his spleen.
Two months ago things became scary when a literal Garfield cat stopped wanting to eat. Diagnosing an animal is not easy, nor cheap, nor pleasant. I am grateful that we have found some medical plan but it has been the hardest time of my life. It has taken countless tests to understand what is happening with sweet Noodie boy, and he has been a champion of being unbothered and still the sweetest ever. Even after months of searching to find answers and no relief for him. That’s when we finally reached the worst conclusion- a type of cancer called mast cell cancer.
Not only have we reached our insurance cap, but we are looking at an easy 3K for his surgery this week. The care team has assured me that this will grant him another year or more of happy life. And he and I, as well as the rest of the family deserve to let go on slower terms. He was the most healthy cat in the world two months ago and I am not ready to say goodbye.

If you can’t donate, it’s okay. I want to bring awareness to the importance of regular checkups for your pets. BUT also, that pet health insurance is clutch and get your pets on that asap. A lot of plans bundle with your home/car and pet. But regardless, because your pets can’t tell you how they’re really feeling it is so important to investigate every last thing even if they are otherwise healthy. Everyone has regrets losing a pet but I do wish I pushed harder on things that were seemingly little before. Our babies deserve the best and I hope Noodle can inspire others.

Even 1$ will make a huge difference and please ask me if you have any questions. Vinmo to avoid feez ! @laynie_cc
