Non-profit school for underprivileged children in Pakistan
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We are raising funds to install solar panels on the roof of our non-profit school in Lahore, Pakistan. For over two years, Zubaida Muzaffar Model School has provided completely free education to underprivileged children, offering them a chance for a brighter future.
Our family demolished their childhood home to build this school, aiming to combat the severe education crisis in Pakistan. By establishing this school, we hope to address this issue directly, without any intermediaries and with no personal gain.
So far, we have funded the school entirely out of our own pockets. However, to embark on larger projects like this one, we're requesting your support. Any amount is helpful, and even if our target goal is not met, all money raised will be used to support the school.
Constant access to electricity is a limited privilege in Pakistan. Installing these solar panels will help us save on energy costs, allowing us to provide this essential resource to our students more easily. Our school offers a safe space where students always have access to light, computers, books, clean water, and comfortable temperatures. The solar panels alone will generate enough electricity to air condition 2-3 classrooms during Lahore's 50°C weather.
Below, you can see the roof of our school where the solar panels will be installed. These panels will create a 15-20 kW solar system and cost over CAD 15,000. If any funds are raised beyond the cost of the solar panels, they will be used to pay for teacher salaries and school supplies.
Your support will make a lasting impact on our students. Thank you for your generosity!
