Diagnosed with systemic lupus 12 years ago, Nono "Cynthia" Osuji is now fighting her life. Courageously battling end-stage kidney failure, Nono shared her story with the world and publicly asked for a kidney in September 2022.

In an incredible turn of events, Nono received a message from fellow Ursuline Academy of Dallas class of 1999 alumnae Megan Nauslar Neitzel a couple of weeks later: “I have the answer for you. I have a kidney for you. And it is a perfect match, and I will be donating it to you.”
