Andrew surprised his mother, Annie Braithwaite, for her birthday this past weekend! Many of us spent the weekend in Idaho Falls and had a wonderful weekend of celebration together! Andrew is the son of David and Annie Braithwaite. Andrew is the oldest brother of Cameron, Meghan, Garth, and Morgan. Andrew is an Uncle, Cousin, Co-worker and Friend to many! Andrew has two wonderful dogs, Gemma and Albus.
Andrew is in the ICU at Harborview Medical Center. He has a long journey to recovery and we have started this GoFundMe site to help with expenses that will occur . Please donate and share if possible. We are thankful for all the love and support!
On Wednesday, January 13, we got the call that Andrew was found lathargic and nearly unresponsive in his apartment surrounded by his dogs, Gemma & Albus (and Rocco). Andrienne took him to the hospital where many tests were performed. Late into the night on Wednesday the doctors at Harborview Medical Center performed brain surgery.
Around 11:00pm Annie made her way quickly to the airport in Salt Lake City with the help of Garth Braithwaite and Meghan Braithwaite Shane during a snow storm. During the travels these are the updates we received:

"Just spoke to the surgeon, Dr McGrath.
Andrew came out of surgery.
They did a CT scan and there's still blood in the brain. They're taking him back in now.
I gave permission for them to do a procedure in the morning - shooting dye into his brain to examine the blood vessels in his brain. There is an abnormality there"
Medical Updates from Annie 3:13 am on 1/14/2016
"Just spoke to Dr McGrath. They stopped the 2nd bleed. He's concerned about Andrew's inability to speak. They're going to do the angiogram in the morning. Dr. McGrath says he's anxious to see what will happen to Andrew's speech in the next few days.

"They have him heavily medicated but will slowly try to remove the ventilator"

Annie has arrived in Seattle and is headed to the hospital with Cameron Braithwaite.
"Heading to Harborview. Just spoke to the surgeon on the new Neuro team. Gave permission for the procedure to examine the blood vessels. The ICU nurse told me the hard part is over. He's in good hands. They're taking good care of him."
