My mom, Catina, my grandma, Charlene “Nonnie”, and my daughter, Swayze were in a car accident this past Sunday. While Swayze is okay, my mom and grandma have a long road to recovery. Nonnie is currently at a skilled rehab facility and is estimated to be there for 4-6 weeks, and will not be able to continue babysitting for the foreseeable future. She has multiple broken ribs and 2 fractures of the spine, one at the base of the neck. As many of you know, Nonnie’s job is babysitting, so you can imagine how much she is missing her kids and how worried she is about money to pay for her bills. I set this up in hopes of giving her some sort of comfort knowing that she does not need to worry about her bills, and just focus on getting better so she can walk again and come back home.
