My sister was a former OFW in Israel for 3 years. She was sent back to the Philippines because of her unknown illness that time. She was in and out in the hospital both in Israel and the Philippines and was being treated for chronic cough with blood, lung infection and suspected Pulmonary Tuberculosis. However, she was not responding to PTB treatment and her condition was getting worst. The doctors decided to get sample tissues in the trachea and in the deeper part of the right lung for biopsies. To our surprise, last February 2018. It was confirmed that she has a Non Small Cell Lung Cancer Stage 4 disease. We don’t know how she got it because she doesn’t smoke and live a healthy lifestyle. The cancer has already spread out to her left lung and trachea giving her difficulty to breathe, as the tumor was blocking the air passageway. The doctors decided to open up a hole in her neck in order for her to breathe normally and immediately started chemotherapy. Together with my older sister, we are the one's who's paying for her hospitalization, medicines and chemotherapy sessions after she utilized all her savings in her initial hospital stay. However, after completing her 24th chemotherapy session our savings and resources are starting to diminished and not enough to sustain her medical needs. We will be using the money for her PET scan test and new treatment plan. We are knocking to your good hearts to help us with any amount you can contribute. Please help us to prolong my sister's life. She’s too young to be a victim of this dreaded disease. We may not pay you back but We will include your name and family to our prayers for your health and safety. God bless you all! This campaign is being run on GoFundMe by her brother Michael, a physical therapist based in Austin, Tx along with the help of his friends and all of Jho-anne's close friends and Family.
