My name is Tahira, and in the coming year I will be embarking on the expensive journey to voluntarily delete my teets. I don’t expect to cover all of this through crowd funding, but any donations are greatly appreciated to alleviate the financial load. My whole lifestyle would massively shift for the better, being in control of something I have wanted for years, and in the words of my referral letter, my discomfort and dysphoria is “not only a restriction of movement, but an impediment on my expression of physical and mental freedom”.
My costs are yet to be finalised, however I know that the surgeons fees will be roughly $9000, adding on top of that the anaesthetist’s fees ($2.7k), the hospital stay (rebatable with an excess of $1k) and consultation fees ($500). Wow, that’s expensive! Whoops!
If there’s any way I can give back, I’ll be sure to make myself at your service. Be it pick ups, chewing out you toxic ex-boyfriend to his face, working on your short film or sending you a nice post-op picture of myself, I’ll will avail myself to your needs. Should the fundraiser, god forbid, end up exceeding my total costs, the rest will be donated to Sisters Inside, an organisation that advocates for incarcerated women and girls in Australia.
