Nomi is in need of help ❤️
Donation protected
Nomi has been in my life since she was less than two months old. She was one of a litter of three, and the only one of her siblings to survive at birth. She was a warrior from day one.
Nomi has always been very affectionate and playful, with a strong character, but extremely loyal. She is now about 6 years old, even though she still believes she is a baby.
Nomi has been having a hard time walking for months. The problem started in one hind leg first and then the other. We do not know if this was caused by a hereditary/genetic issue or if she suffered some kind of trauma that we are unaware of. Her vet has informed us that she will need surgery on her two hind legs. Without this operation, in a very short time, she could lose her ability to walk altogether.
Nomi’s official diagnosis is “Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease.” The Cranial Cruciate Ligament is the canine equivalent of the ACL, and one of the key ligaments that help stabilize the knee joint. Her vet has told us that this is causing Nomi a lot of pain, though she puts on a brave face and tries not to show it. The truth is that it is already visibly hard for her to put weight on both of her hind legs.
The surgery is to be split in two, first one leg, and in about 2 months, the other.
The entire procedure will have a cost of $1,600 USD.
Unfortunately, this is a substantial amount of money that I do not have at the moment, which is why I have come to you in search of help. Any donation is appreciated, no matter how big or small, to help Nomi through this difficult time.
She is part of our family, and gives us unconditional love, which we hope to give back to her for many years to come.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering to help my Nomi. If so, I hope one day I can return the favor should you ever need it.
Thank you again, from me and Nomi.
