Nomad's Climate Podmarch

Donation protected
We're deeply troubled by the climate crisis, and want to use Nomad's platform to respond. So we've come up with the idea of a Podcast Climate Protest March, or Climate Podmarch, if you will.

The idea is to produce a podcast episode that mixes contributions from theologians, scientists and people affected by climate change, with new music and poetry.

So far former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, founder of Extinction Rebellion Gail Bradbrook and leading climate scientist James Anderson have agreed to contribute. And we're working on bringing in a number of other inspiring and challenging voices.

Here's the twist. We're then going to see if we can persuade other podcasters to release the climate podmarch on their feeds on the same day. So in the same way Extinction Rebellion are disrupting business as usual in cities around the world, we'll be disrupting podcast feeds around the world.

This will be an expensive endeavour though, more than we can afford alone. It'll require a lot of travel around the UK recording contributions, commissioning music and poetry, and around two months of David Blower's time, to record, edit, write music, and weave the whole thing together.

We're aiming to complete it around the end of the year, or early next year, but we're already hard at work. So please consider making a donation, however small.
