Children are growing up with chronic stomach disorders and the resulting stunted growth, malnutrition, crippling stomach cramps and dysentary. Our chosen orphanages needed water filtration to lessen the infection and reinfection. This we accomplished, installing a 16 stage, reverse osmosis, UV light water treatment systems from https://crystalquest.com . In 2020, we have additional locations to improve.
Additionally, this year, we are incompassing Chiapas, Mexico into our focus. The three oldest indian tribes on the planet live in mountainous areas of Eastern, Central Chiapas. These indigenous people suffer from easily preventable diseases including premature blindness from lack of nutrients in their diets. We will implement a sustainable project there. Our intial trip includes a "needs assessments" at a remote mountain clinic as well, in order to support and sustain their mission.
Join in Nomadic Wellness' goal to raise $40,000 by March 30, 2020, which will cover the cost of the filtration systems and installation for Honduras, and our first foray into Southern Mexico. Thank you for your help!
