Nomad Medix EMT cert and class donation

Nomad Medix was created in 2020 to support protestors along the west coast and has evolved into food distribution, de-escalation/security, firearms safety and bleeding control classes, etc. The next step is to legitimize this project with a 3 week EMT certification through the highly recommended Aerie Backcountry Medicine in Montana.

This GoFundMe will be running from June 2023 through January 2024 with the hopes of garnering $2,000 every month leading up to the $1,850 course, and $300 for gas for the 41 hour round trip drive. All other money received will go towards the $456.20 monthly storage of supplies and chipping away at $10,000 in credit card debt accrued through altruism while never recovering from lost work during the pandemic.

During this time Nomad Medix will also be offering multiple classes a month ranging from bleeding control and chemical irritants to kickboxing and yoga. We will also have giveaways for individual first aid kits, plate carriers, survival supplies, and training tools. Stickers and buttons are also being created with patches and pins to follow. Stop the Bleed is $79 and a yoga class is $32 on average here in LA, this is a space to donate money towards your own training or to make it available for someone else!

Communists have fed me, anarchists have housed me, and I want to find longevity in this radical action called life. My current goals are securing stable food and housing, teaching soft target businesses how to use bleeding control kits to raise funds and train mutual aid organizations, engineering financially accessible wound packing training devices, designing protest resistant bags to inspire every day carrying IFAKs, and becoming a North American Rescue business to business distributor (requires creating an LLC) to answer the question “where do I get medical supplies from?’
