Nollie’s MRI & surgery
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
late Monday night we found our 6 year old cat, Nollie, unable to bear weight on his hind legs making it impossible to walk. We immediately took him to the hospital and after many iv’s, blood tests, & X-rays the veterinarian diagnosed nollie with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). His seems to be pretty bad and nollie was taken by his dad, Cody, to Greenville South Carolina neurology hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning. There, they will keep him comfortable with pain management and fluids until the morning where we will have an MRI to assess the next steps are for our baby. We were told Nollie has a 50/50 chance of walking again on his own. These odds aren’t great but I know my big guy and we are praying for the best outcome.
The MRI, additional testing, & surgery are a huge out of pocket expense for us. If you are able to donate that’s great, if you are not able to donate that’s also okay. All we ask is that you pray for Nollie and pray that he can overcome these obstacles. If you know Nollie, you know he had a lot more love to give in this life.
thank you & all our love,
Savanna & Cody
