Hello,

September 11, 2021 was 7 years ago that Nick had a seizure that lead the doctors to find a brain tumor. Nick is truly a miracle as most often people diagnosed with this brain tumor don't usually live past a year. Your prayers have truly been part of this miracle and they can feel your continued prayers everyday.

As many of you know or may not know Nick is no longer working. His last brain surgery was April 23,2021. On July 2, 2021 he had a shunt put in his head due to fluid build up in his brain. Nick has left side weakness that requires him to have someone with him. He is not paralyzed. He is in OT and PT and is making progress everyday. He will start out patient therapy to regain his strength on his left side. Due to his left side weakness, Nick needs someone to help him while Jessie is working. The surgeries required lengthy hospital stays with many other daily expenses occurring. They also need somethings modified in their house to accommodate Nicks wheelchair.

My husband Chris has, along with many other family members and friends have been pitching in to stay with Nick while Jessie started working again. The Nolde family doesn't know that we are setting this up. We saw a need for an incredible family that has been through so much all ready. We cant imagine what the family is going through, but would like to try to eliminate any extra stress.

Your prayers are still what is needed most but if you are able to help financially at all we can take some of the stress off of this beautiful family. Watching Jessie take care of Nick is one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. Their marriage is a true example of God's love and their love for one another. They truly have embraced their wedding vows, especially in sickness and health.
