Found in a basement filled with 9 other cage and tortured dogs. Bred twice before the age of 2 years old, Nola was forced into fighting that left her with lifetime scars. Nola lived to love everyone she touched. Her story is not uncommon. This is why I am asking for your support to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Safe Humane Chicago. Safe Humane is committed to breaking the cycle of violence through trauma-informed care and programs that bring together abused or neglected shelter dogs – in particular, our Court Case Dogs™ – with youth and adults impacted by violence, challenged by poverty or extreme trauma in order to help and support each other., any donation will help make an impact to the good.
Nola was rescued by Safe Humane Chicago and introduced to a program of second chances. She grew to become involved in peace circles and group interactions built on lifetime bonding.
If anyone had a reason to distrust humans it was Nola but, she loved everyone she came across and, touched many hearts.
Nola was called to heaven after her short 8 years on this Earth from a cancerous tumor. She made an impact with so many people in her limited time amongst us. Those who knew her, knew of her impact to the human spirit. She will forever be missed.
As a member on the Board of Directors of Safe Humane Chicago, I am asking for your support for a much-needed worthy cause.
Please join me in giving, to help support the next generation of dogs of the same spirit as my baby girl Nola.
