Nolan's Heart Journey

This GoFundMe is being set up by Nolan's aunts Brittney Bogardus and Christina Wilcox, on behalf of John and Amber.

Nolan John Bogardus was born at 10:00 AM on the dot on Friday, October 14th. Nolan is a heart baby with a very long road ahead of him. 

At 33 weeks, after a seemingly perfect pregnancy, it was found that Nolan had developed a severe case of Dilated Cardiomyopathy with a slim chance at life outside of the womb due to his heart’s inability to pump properly. Nolan arrived day one, spirited and ready to fight. Doctors have now confirmed that he will require a heart transplant.

Mom & Dad are working tirelessly (and essentially living) with the incredible staff at his children’s hospital to provide Nolan with the best care possible as they fight to give him the life he deserves.

Along with love, support and prayers, any donation would help ease the financial stress involved in Nolan's long fight.

Some fun facts about Nolan:

-He knows how to get exactly what he wants from Mom, Dad and the nurses.

-He loves bath time.

-He sleeps like a grown man, all spread out and arms above his head.

-He can already hold his own head up and hold his pacifier in his mouth.

-He loves to be swaddled, but only if 1 leg can stick out.

-He has a full head of hair that gets more red every day.
