Help Nolan's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
It all started with a small bump on his forehead. Nolan had taken a spill in the house while playing which left him with a stubborn knot on his forehead that wouldnt go away. The doctor's had assured me that it was nothing, and he was fine. My insitncs drove me to Children's Hospital of Orange County for a second opinion when I noticed the bump was getting worse. We were admitted on Friday 2/24 and Nolan was scheduled for emergency surgery on Sunday 2/26 after dosctors found 3 large tumors pressing against his brain. The front portion of Nolan's skull was removed along with the tumors which luckily had not infected his brain. The surgery was a success and we got a glimpse at what a fighter our son is as he bounced right back with smiles a day after his surgery.

The bad news came a week later as we received the results from the testing done on the tumors. Doctors confirmed Nolan has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. The cancer was found in his left bone marrow, left pelvic bone and his left adrenal gland. The doctors are looking to begin aggressive treatments, so we are now in the process of preparing as best we can for an 18 month long process of surgeries, chemo therapy and testing. We will be checking into CHOC Hospital for a week of chemo therapy, and then be back home for 2 weeks (1 week on. 2 weeks off). We will repeat this cycle for the next year and a half or until our son is cancer free.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support, prayers and well-wiches from our friends and family. It's a hard thing to reach out for help, but please know any donations will be going directly to medical expenses, required medications, bills back home (car payments, insurance, etc.) and whatever else Nolan may need to help him beat cancer!

If you're unable to give financially, we understand and only ask for your continued prayers and support. Plaese do not hesitate to SHARE our story. We will do our best to send updates and look forward to the day we can share with you all that Nolan is cancer free.
THANK YOU!
