Your generosity to our family has been overwhelming. Through your gifts we have been able to establish the Nolan T. Parker scholarship in perpetuity through the Blue River Foundation. We will be eternally grateful for that. Shelbyville is certainly small town living, but is evident that Nolan's reach went far beyond that. The Nolan T. Parker Memorial Scholarship Fund was established as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization following Nolan's death as a result of a motor vehicle accident on March 14, 2020.
The details of the scholarship will be announced at a later date.
Nolan never knew a stranger, his smile was infectious and his friendship was special to all that knew him. The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to offer their support during this difficult time. Nolan touched many lives, he will be missed greatly. We hope to touch lives and inspire others through this scholarship fund. Thank you for considering a donation to this scholarship in his honor, memory and legacy.
