I am close friends and coworkers with Derek Rice who lost his best buddy and youngest son abruptly from a tragic accident on 9/28. Nolan was crossing the street while walking home from school and was struck by a car.

Prior to this loss, Derek had undergone major surgery and is in recovery from that.

His family has an irreparable hole in their hearts from this tragedy. Money will not bring Nolan back but it will assist the family in providing a funeral/memorial for him as well as medical bills.
