Hi, I'm Shaznay. If you're here, you might aready know that I am the writer and exec producer of NOIR.
You might also know that my team recently completed a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. £6,000 was our absolute minimum budget for the film, and we raised £6,626 in total. However, after Kickstarter fees + backer’s pledges not going through, we only received £5,937.
I'll tell you now, filmmaking is expensive. And with our budget, we've tried our best to allocate funds evenly enough to be able to afford expensive equipment, paying each and every cast and crew member, hire a location, as well as production design and costuming which will be extremely important for this particular film.
So, we've opened this fund to allow any additional contributions and donations to help us. We have outlined the following stretch goals as some numbers that can help support the production further:
- If we raise £7.5k, we'll have reached our full budget and will also be able to cover Kickstarter fees (5%) + payment processing fees (3-5%+ 20p per each pledge).
- If we raise £8.5k, we can increase the crew's rates and improve the location and production value.
- If we raise £10k+, we can help NOIR come out strong with an increased post-production budget for sound, colour grade and editing, pay crew better rates as well as send NOIR on a bigger festival run - meaning more eyes on the film!
