We've had a busy year sharing the stories of Detroit's Black Architects through podcasts, lectures and presentations, exhibits, and bus tours through Midtown and downtown. Thank you for your encouragement, feedback, and for attending our events.
One major highlight of our project so far-seeing Nathan Johnson receive the 2018 Gold Medal from AIA Detroit! The stories we share are making an impact on our profession, educating students, and inspiring our community.
Wait, we're not finished yet! We're planning video interviews with architects, their families and colleagues, and other digital documentation of their important work. The interviews, wiki pages, digital maps, and our website are a huge part of our overall project - ensuring that these stories live forever.
