Noi asking Buddha to take his itchies away
Noi Kai is a strong & brave lil' 4 year old boy who has suffered from severe eczema exacerbated by multiple environmental & food allergies that started to worsen after his first year of life. He spends many hours of the day in severe pain & discomfort from uncontrollable itching causing him to scratch continuously & has contracted multiple staph infections due to his constant open wounds.

Noi is rarely able to sleep through the night, despite multiple medications & attempts at leg wrapping, and has difficulty tolerating baths, outdoor activities and completing an afternoon of preschool.
He has been on a very restricted diet most of his life & has had a handful of anaphylactic reactions, but none severe enough to require the use of an Epi-pen. He has to take multiple antihistamines & CBD oil around the clock, exceeding the average dose recommendations & requires constant application of topical ointments both medicated & natural remedies to try to keep him as comfortable as possible. He has been on multiple antibiotics, antivirals & steroids, but due to the ineffectiveness on his system, it has been recommended for Noi to try a new injectable medication over a 4 month period that is being used on a very limited amount of children in the country. The family would like to get Noi off of or at least decrease his current medications with worry of the long term effects they may have on his little body.
He has seen multiple eastern and western doctors and was hospitalized at Dominican, Stanford & El Camino Hospitals last September for almost 2 weeks with a staph infection untreatable with oral antibiotics and a virus related to his eczema. Once released from the hospital, Noi suffered a seizure on the way home requiring an emergency 911 transport that led him back into the hospital. He is still currently being followed by Stanford & also is being treated by a gut specialist, but has struggled with getting any kind of prolonged relief.

It has been suggested to trial Noi in a different area to see if being out of his current allergens & in a more humid climate might give him pain relief & a better quality of life. His mom, Jenny, has been working toward getting a temporary travel work assignment to attempt a trial for Noi. The family has traveled to Hawaii & the East Coast for a couple of weeks during summer months & have experienced good results with Noi's skin & improved comfort so this may be a hopeful solution.

Since the family is still battling with multiple medical expenses including hospital & ambulance bills, transitioning to another location for a trial is challenging even with the family increasing their work load. Noi's family has realized that his special needs require a village of support & that his parents alone are unable to provide what is needed at this time.
We are trying to raise as much money as able to help Noi get some relief & pay off multiple medical expenses so that his family can be there for him as much as he needs them.
Any donation of love is welcomed & greatly appreciated.
Thank you for all your love & support for sweet lil' Noi & his family! Please share the love by sharing his story ❤️
