NOGA's Debut EP Release!

Donation protected
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN (donation packages listed below):

Hey there! My name is Noga, and over the past year, I finally recorded my debut 5-song EP "Lady Sun" to be released in July 2023. This is the first solo project that I'm putting out into the world, and as some of you may know, there is a lot more that goes into releasing a musical project than just the music itself! While the recording is ready to be delivered to your ears, I'm trying to raise some funds to push this project over the finish line and give it all the back-end support it deserves. Delivering this little capsule of music in the right way with all the right kinds of supporting materials will help me impactfully make my mark in the vast expanse of released music out there. The funds I raise through this GoFundMe will be used for supplemental materials like photoshoots, music video shoots, PR, merchandise, CD printing, and most excitingly to produce a fantastical EP release event in Beacon, NY that will require a sound person to run live sound and record the show, a photographer, a videographer, promo materials, and an opening act. I'm releasing this campaign alongside my single "Catch Me" which you can listen to here - the first real peak at the EP! It would mean the whole entire world to me if you would support the release of my debut project:) Below you'll find some more info about donation packages, me, the EP, the single I've just released, & some behind-the-scenes photos from the recording process. Thanks for taking the time to check out the project!!

ABOUT THE EP:

The "Lady Sun" EP is a collection of songs that tells the story of a relationship through its many phases. It is a time capsule, a coming-of-age story documented through song, an account of how relationships shape you as you get older, and a reflection on the expansive nature of first loves. It is an exploration of friendship, queer love, and all of the internal processing that accompanies those experiences when you begin to step into yourself. These songs were written starting at the end of my high school years through to the present day. Releasing this EP feels like I am finally letting a younger version of myself go; like I am releasing a younger Noga to be contained within this music so that I can make room for all of the new ideas and projects I hope to work on next. I am extremely grateful to have written these songs, and to be putting them out there for all of you to hear.

ABOUT THE SINGLE "Catch Me":

This song is perhaps my favorite off of the EP. It delves into a moment that marks a turning point between two people, reflecting on the nuances of relearning how to interact with and love someone in a new way. It also explores what it means to let go of your past perceptions of someone you love and the habitual relationship dynamics you have with them. As the song reaches its conclusion, listeners will hear an easter egg that quotes a small section of the album's title track, “Lady Sun”. This adds a subtle, yet meaningful layer to the EP's overall narrative. Stylistically, you're in for a surprise...
