Donate in memory of Joe Jarzynka

Joe Jarzynka, beloved husband, father, sibling, son and friend, passed away on March 5th, 2023, at the age of 45. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Joe was born and raised in Michigan before he and his family moved to Gig Harbor, Washington in 1990. An exceptional student-athlete, Joe excelled in football and soccer, receiving the MVP of Pierce County League and second-team all-state for football.

In 1995, Joe walked on to the University of Washington football team, where he won the hearts of his teammates and Husky Nation, as he earned a role as a kickoff and punt returner, then gradually as a receiver. His long flowing locks of hair and refusal to call a fair catch helped earn him widespread popularity.

Family was everything to Joe. He is survived by his loving wife, Jen, and his two incredible children, Madelin and Fisher.
