Noemi (Nuni) Niskanen

Noemi Niskanen, 76, of Dallas, Georgia (originally from Bronx,NY), wife of Alpo O. Niskanen entered into eternal rest Friday, November 24, 2023 surrounded by her family. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Noemi was born February 8, 1947 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Armando Delgado and Nydia Aviles Delgado. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with all of her many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved listening and dancing to her salsa music often.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, five children, Debbie E. Niskanen of Bronx, NY, Lisa N. Nunez (Robert) of Hiram, GA, David A. Niskanen (Ramonita) of Yonkers, NY, Lucas A. Niskanen (Jenny) of Massapequa, Long Island, New York and Noemi M. Hord (Kyle) of Acworth, GA; she is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, David Jr., Frank, Travis, Madeline, Charlize, Knox, Dylan, James, Dawson, Charlotte, Decker, Anton, Mikayla, and her great grandchildren Sienna, Liliana and Isabella.
