Why I'm fundraising

I want to help give Sarah the ability to be off work and not worry about things for a little while. Their family needs time to mourn and process their loss together. I had a grieving mother say to me before... "when we have our babies we get 6-12 weeks to bond with them and focus on them, but if we lose our babies we get 3 days of bereavement and are expected to go back."

That statement has stuck with me for so long and I do not want Sarah to feel rushed into "going back to normal" 

The impact of your support

Giving Sarah the opportunity to not worry about money while grieving. The last thing she needs to deal with right now is money as a stressor so let's help alleviate some of that weight.
