Noelle Amid Needs Your Help
I would like to introduce you to five-year-old sweet Noelle Tabitha Amid. Noelle is the daughter of Robert and Tracy Amid. She is an active, sassy, spunky, and full of spirit little girl. The Amid family is one of the most caring and giving families you will come across. Tracy, Robert, Gabriel, and Elijah decided, as a family, to adopt a newborn named Abigail. Just three short months after Abby was born, the family was contacted about a three-year-old girl in need of a place to stay for the weekend. Today, two years later, Noelle has been adopted by the Amid family and loves being both a big sister to Abby and little sister to Elijah and Gabrielle.
Last week Noelle exhibited symptoms of a cold. Things went downhill quickly. She is currently in DeVos Children’s Hospital ICU for encephalitis. This disease is a swelling of the brain, and it can take weeks to months for recovery. Noelle has lost mobility of her lower body and is no longer able to talk or walk. She has an amazing team of doctors working alongside of her and the care she is receiving is among the best.
But... this is where Noelle, and her mom and dad desperately need your help.
The Amid’s have incurred the cost of two adoptions in the past two years. Noelle's medical care is going to be a financial hardship on the family, as she will need to be in rehabilitation for weeks or month once she is released from the hospital. $15,000 is the minimum out of pocket cost for medical care, which does not include the loss of employment pay for the parents. Both Robert and Tracy work full-time and will need to manage their schedules accordingly. Noelle will of course be their primary
focus for the weeks and months ahead. Anything you can do to help the Amid family would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t financially help, that is ok too. Your prayers and well wishes for Noelle are very much needed and appreciated. Thank you in advance!
