NODUS TOLLENS is a psychological drama short film that follows a young man lost to nostalgia who is forced to find a way out after a mysterious man in silver traps him in his own psyche.

Why? Nodus Tollens is a Latin expression defined as "the idea that our life, our trajectory, isn't playing out in the way we thought it would, or the way we hoped it would." Our film is about the expectations we place upon ourselves and how we can lose ourselves to them. This story is about that idea and how graphing out our own lives can have a dangerous effect.

More about the story? Our film follows Benny, a stubbornly nostalgic college student with no direction in his life, as he's thrown into his own psyche by a mysterious and eccentric game show host, The Man In Silver. Once inside, Benny must face several trials aimed at breaking down his emotional walls and finding the root of his problems. Along the way, he must face his past, present, and future with the help of both The Man In Silver and a mysterious Figure lurking in the shadows. The film is vibrant, strange, and kinetic, continuously gaining speed throughout Benny's trials as the visuals get weirder and the world distorts around him, all while Benny desperately searches for a way out.
