This fundraising page is for an orphanage based in Democratic Republic of Congo and is called Nodaliesse. The orphanage has been in existence for 23 years and is run by Sister Petronille.
Nodaliesse looks after orphans and provide them with education and training. At the present moment there are 34 children in the orphanage, they rent a 3 bedroom house which as you can imagine can be very cosy at times and not ideal.
Due to a significant drop in donations the orphanage is having problems paying rent and is in serious arrears - there are talks of eviction.
Therefore Sister Petronille has decided that the best course of action will be for the orphanage to have its own place with enough facilities and space for the children and hence our need to help her and start this fundraising page. Our main goal is to raise around £100,000.00 which is what it will cost to build the Orphanage, based on a quotation and the plans we've secured. We are trying to raise this money in stages so we can start building on the land little by little. £10,000 is our first goal!!

These children deserve a warm bed to sleep in, education and a cooked meal each night - they are our future.
