wir bitten heute um Hilfe für Lena.

Lena leidet an idiopathischer Lungenfibrose, einer schweren und unheilbaren Erkrankung, bei der die Lunge zunehmend vernarbt und ihre Funktion verliert.

Ab August wird Lena auf die Warteliste für eine Lungentransplantation gesetzt. Sobald dieser Schritt erfolgt, darf sie ihre unmittelbare Erreichbarkeit nicht mehr gefährden, da jederzeit ein passendes Spenderorgan verfügbar werden könnte.

Das bedeutet, dass ihr Zeitfenster für eine große Reise nahezu geschlossen ist.

Ihr größter Wunsch ist es, noch einmal gemeinsam mit ihren Kindern, Enkeln und ihrer Familie nach Kirgisistan zu reisen – in das Land ihrer Kindheit, in dem sie aufgewachsen ist und mit dem viele ihrer wertvollsten Erinnerungen verbunden sind.

Niemand weiß, wann ein Spenderorgan gefunden wird. Niemand weiß, wie lange die Wartezeit sein wird. Und auch wenn eine Transplantation Hoffnung schenkt, ist sie mit großen Risiken verbunden.

Deshalb möchten wir Lena die Möglichkeit geben, diesen Herzenswunsch jetzt zu erfüllen – solange es ihr Gesundheitszustand noch erlaubt.

Die Kosten für Flüge, Unterkunft, notwendige Unterstützung vor Ort und die Reise mit ihrer Familie übersteigen die finanziellen Möglichkeiten.

Unser Ziel sind 20.000 Euro, damit Lena diese besondere Zeit mit ihren Liebsten verbringen und unvergessliche Erinnerungen schaffen kann.

Dear friends, family, and supporters, Today, we are asking for your help for Lena. Lena is living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a severe and incurable disease that causes progressive scarring of the lungs and gradually reduces their ability to function. In August, Lena will be placed on the waiting list for a lung transplant. Once this process begins, she must remain available at all times, as a suitable donor organ could become available at any moment. This means that her opportunity to take a major trip is quickly coming to an end. Lena’s greatest wish is to travel to Kyrgyzstan one more time with her children, grandchildren, and family — returning to the country where she grew up and where so many of her most precious memories were made. No one knows when a donor organ will become available. No one knows how long the wait will be. And while a transplant offers hope, it also comes with significant risks. That is why we want to give Lena the chance to fulfill this heartfelt wish now, while her health still allows her to do so. The costs of flights, accommodation, necessary support during the trip, and traveling with her family exceed what they can afford on their own. Our goal is to raise €20,000 to help Lena spend this special time with her loved ones and create memories that will last a lifetime. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
