Noble Academy's Concept Young Scholar Program has the opportunity to send a group of students grade 5-8 to Washington D.C. The trip, which will take place May 4-6, will enable students to learn about our Nation's capitol and its storied history and visit Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the site of the pivotal Civil War battle which ended Confederate General Robert E. Lee's ambitious second quest to invade the North and effectively brought the Civil War to an end.
Many of our students have never traveled outside of the state of Ohio before and this trip would enable them to experience the world beyond the city of Columbus. The cost per student is $400.00. This includes transportation, meals, and hotel accomodations. Noble Academy Columbus is a Title I school and 100 percent of our students receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. By providing this funding for students, it will ensure that they are able to experience this trip while reducing the financial obligation on their families.
We are looking to raise as much money as possible in hopes of lowering the cost for each student. Our goal is to send at least 15 students on this trip. We greatly appreciate any help you are willing to give and would like to thank you in advance for supporting our students.
