Hello, my name is Noah.

I’m 13 years old and I’ve just been offered an amazing opportunity to join my school trip to Southern Tanzania in July 2027.

It’s a 14 day expedition where we’ll help a local school with their garden, climb a mountain, meet the Masaai and explore a different culture and see incredible landscapes, we'll learn about animal conservation and of course develop skills in a team and on my own.

The only challenge- It costs a lot to get there! About £4000 to cover the travel costs, the travel insurance, my spending money, gifts for the villages we visit and a good pair of walking boots which all needs to be paid for. My mum said I have to start fundraising. So I have started straight away.

Coming from a solo parent household means I already have a big mountain to climb, but I’m ready to give it my best shot.

A bit about me:

I love animals and nature (the more unusual the better).

Geography is one of my favourite subjects and I’m fascinated by the world, the wildlife and how people live in different places.

I’m sporty, a bit funny (but in a good way - so I’m told) and I try to be kind and caring.

To raise the funds - I’m planning a series of small challenges and creative ideas over the next year and a half. These might include sponsored sports goals, carboot sales, car washes, busking and even some silly dares ( if it makes people smile and donate!).

I’d also love to offer pet day care or litter-picking for sponsorship.

I’ll be working hard and I’ll share updates along the way so you can see my progress.
