Noah's Wheels

On behalf of our family, we are reaching out for support in our efforts to raise funds for a wheelchair accessible van for our son, Noah. Noah was diagnosed 4 years ago at the age of 5 with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He received his power wheelchair in November 2020, which has helped him tremendously, however, we cannot transport the power chair safely with our current vehicle. Our plan was to modify the van that we have, until recently we were told it is not possible. 

DMD causes the muscles in the body to become weak and damaged over time, and is eventually fatal. Duchenne is caused by a genetic mutation that prevents the body from producing dystrophin, muscle cells become damaged and weakened. Duchenne is an irreversible, progressive disease with no cure.
