Dear friends and animal lovers,
We urgently need your help for Noah. On Tuesday morning, we dropped Noah off at our vet to have what we though to be a routine, non-invasive procedure to flush a stone in Noah's urethra into his kidney where the stone is expexted to be dissolved with the proper diet. We picked Noah up later turesday afternoon and he was out of it and rightfully so. They said to try to feed him a little bit around 7pm and wait 20 minutes to before feeding him more to make sure he keeps it down. We gave him a bit more and finished around 7:45. At 9pm, he started throwing up. Then later around 2am, he threw up some more. He was not drinking anf not peeing so we called the vet at 7am. The vet said to "bring him in for observation" which basically meant they stuff him in a cage, try to feed him, try to give him water and see if he pees. None of which he did. When we picked him up Wednesday after the alleged observation, he was worse. They vet said to bring him back there and i demanded to know what his game plan was and he didnt have one other than shooting some dye in him to see if the bladder had a tear.
I immediately left work and we rushed Noah to the Emergency Vet where he began the fight for his life.
The emergency vet was able to get Noah's vitals stable enough to perform surgery as his temperature and blood pressure were low, his liver enzymes were up. Thankfully the surgery was successful and the surgen was able to mend the tear in his bladder that was sustained by the inital procedure and they got all of the fluid out of his abdomen. Presently, he remains under the care of the emergency vet and they are looking after him. His vitals are stable, his electrolytes are back up to where they need to be and he has a catheter in for the next 24 hours.
This unexpected medical emergency has left us facing overwhelming medical bills and the heartache of seeing our precious little Noah in this conditin.
We are reaching out to you for financial support to help cover Noah's medical expenses for the care he desperately needed. Your generosity can make a difference in his recovery and help get him back on track to the healthy, happy life that he knows.
Thank you for any help you can offer during this difficult time. Every dollar donated, every share, all will help Noah.
