Hi, this is Kelly Peckham and I'm asking you to help me get young Noah, pictured here, to Disneyland for his final wish. Noah is a sunny 16-year-old who has Downs Syndrome, is non-verbal autistic and has critical health issues. His mom Elle is a respected colleague here in London, a single mom who works very hard and has a busy life keeping Noah's many medical and life needs met. Noah was born with a hole in his heart and now in his teens, his physical condition is deteriorating significantly. Elle's primary goal, aside from meeting day to day bills and needs, is trying to fulfill a wish…a trip to Disney for Noah, herself and her teenage daughter who is a huge help with Noah. This family is not eligible for Make-A-Wish because Noah was given some playground equipment when he was very young and you can’t apply twice.

Noah loves the Disney movies. Despite being non-verbal, he finds a way of bringing joy to his family’s lives every day with his quirky sense of humor. He brings out the best in everyone around him. Honestly, the prognosis from his doctors is not good. As much as they hope this will change, Elle is racing against time to get Noah to Disney. So I was hoping, with the love and generosity of my community, we might be able to help. I can assure you the money will be used as intended, and this will give one family the ability to give this boy what he would love the most and create memories for all of them.

I’ve put together a gourmet basket of gorgeous homemade salsas, sauces and preserves from my fellow canners as incentive. I’ll be making a draw from all donations and will personally deliver this beautiful goodie basket to the winner after we raise enough funds.
